Robinson Hill Celebrates Black History Month

At Robinson Hill, we have a passion for understanding and appreciating all cultures, and we value our team members’ diverse backgrounds in forming one strong and cohesive work family. This month, we celebrate Black History Month with all of you!

The month of February has long been dubbed the celebratory month for African American History. Its origin can be traced back to noted historian Carter G. Woodson. Today, Black History Month is celebrated nationwide as well as in other countries including Canada and the United Kingdom.

Although Black History Month has been celebrated since 1976, it is about unifying the community and leveraging this focus on understanding and appreciating all cultures.

As a treat, we are sharing with you the Oscar-winning short film, ‘Hair Love’. It is a wonderful and heartwarming film which is ultimately about the greatest gift, self love:

Here’s to celebrating you!
